Superior Hiking Trail
About the project:
I was contacted by the Superior Hiking Trail Association (The SHT as it’s known by locals!) to be their artist of the year for 2025. They had focused on the big sweeping vistas in previous years, and wanted a little something different and “closer” for apparel and merch. While I had free reign, I definitely focused on the little things I love seeing the most on my hikes.
From the client:
“I emailed Anni SO many times with my middle-of-the-night ideas and she was so thoughtful in being open to them but also sharing the limitations to those ideas or the positive nature of the direction we were heading in. How did Anni know that mushrooms would be THE image so many artists and creators would be implementing this year?!?? She just knows.
